Default C5 Wheels

Can OEM C6 wheels and tires be installed on a C5 without changes to the wells, studs or the installation of an adapter?

With out using wheel adapters the rear wheels will sit too far inside and will look stupid.

Slight rubbing may occur with out them as well.

If you compare the offsets on c5's and c6's you will understand

My C5 has C6 wheels that were installed by the previous owner before I bought it. He used 5/16" spacers on the rear wheels to solve the clearance problem. It looks okay, but still a little sunken in. This is about the thickest spacer you can use with stock lug studs; it's still not very easy to get the lug nuts on (the only time I let a shop touch the car, they cross-threaded one) and I'm not happy with how few threads the lug nuts seem to be grabbing. Over the winter, I'm installing longer studs and replacing the crappy 5/16" universal spacers with 1/2" thick hub-centric spacers. I'm hoping I'll be happy with that setup
