ok how many guys & gals have lowered there cars? did u lower to the shortest stock height. did u cut the front bushings and did you buy longer screws for the rear
I want my car lowered more then stock lowered height. I've seen cars on here that are much lower then my car.I wanted to know how does your car drive when u have cut the bushings in the front?and so on
You will sacrifice a little ride quality but not much and the benefit of the car looking  will make up for a little harshness. I could not raise my car back up. I cut the bushing in the front and gone down as far as possible with the stock rear bolts. I am thinking about going to longer bolts. What is the size of the longer bolts to buy them at home depot? I do not want to spend 30 bucks on bolts that I can buy cheaper. :) But back to your question, I get more compliments that the car looks totally different than stock C5's because of it being lowered. But do get framesavers and railguards because you will encounter some difficult angles and you might scrape. Hope this helps.
Do not use bolts from home depot, at least go to a autoparts, bolts have a strenth rating ie, #10,#8 etc, your home depot bolts are generally for lower strength applications, you do not want to use an under rated bolts on a suspension piece, your auto parts stores will generally have the right ones depending on size.
