I just got a new Blackwing filter and air bridge/power duct. However, I notice that on the stock air bridge that there is a plug with an electrical connection on the left side (facing forward), close to the throttle body. It is in the same bunch of wires going to the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body. The new air duct does not have this and I'm wondering what it is and what do I do with it?
I can't imagine that I was sent the wrong air bridge because how many different kinds could there be for C5's, but I also don't want to start the installation process without knowing that I can complete it properly. Any ideas?

That should be your air temp sensor. you may have to drill a hole for the grommet it goes in. Most people relocate their sensor as far away from the TB/motor as possible so it will sense cooler air. :seeya
