Claims have been made on this mod in the range of 3 to 5 hp/tq increase overall.... This upgrade helps more with heads & cam cars than with stock top ends.

I picked up my ported throttle body from Extreme motorsports.I'm not 100% sure ,but I think it's from Katech.As far as the performance gain,not alot,however the engine revs up faster with the ported throttle body.
