Installed a new heavy duty (McLeod) master cylinder last night and now I have plenty of engagement room instead of way down on the floor. My old master cylinder was slowly getting worse (bypassing) what a plastic piece of crap. I can imagine a lot of people thinking they have transmission trouble and all it is a bad master cylinder.

I went through some problems with Master Cylinders on my car. Do you have any pics of the McLeod? Lou at LGM had to fab a new one for me because the Cartek rod bent. I am not putting down the Cartek! But Lou and I didnt want to run any risk of repeat failures.

Anybody that has ANY disengagement problems should try the mcleod master. I got one of the first units ages ago and it was definitly the product that ended all the aftermarket LS1 clutch woes.
