time for another cam swap!
Well, I'm creeping up on 1,000 miles on the XE-R 224/224 112 LSA, so it's time for another cam swap. The XE-R has worked WELL for me, and it's definitely proven itself. I've just joined the LG Motorsports team, so it's time to try out the G5 on a 112 LSA. It's an XE-R grind as well, so it will be awesome to see how it compares to my current cam. I'm going to stick with the stock heads for now, but I'll upgrade later this fall/winter to L.G.'s ported heads. Hopefully my 10-bolt and trans will live a long, happy life. Well, a long life would suffice...not sure about the happy part. We're going to tune the cam in with LS1 Edit; it will be nice to be able to fine-tune shift points, timing, etc. with the touch of a button! I'll keep everyone posted when the cam is in, and I'll have an overlay of the two different cams. Naturally, I'll quickly follow up with some track times. :)

It's best to call Lou. When he's at the shop he stays VERY busy, so he doesn't get a lot of free time to get on the internet. We're currently out of C5 headers, but we should have a few sets shortly. I know that Katech did some testing, and they picked up significant power throughout the curve with the G2 C5 headers over a set of TPIS. Give Lou a call and ask him about it. :) (972) 272-7753
