Hello. I have a 2001 Z06 with a vortech V2 Supercharger providing 6lbs of boost. This past weekend the drive belt decided to give up. My question is this, It would appear the unit needs to be rebuilt. Is there anyone in the Orlando Fl area who knows of a place that will rebuild the supercharger? Vortech wants a stupid amount and almost two weeks to do it. Any help is always appreciated!!

what exactly happened to the belt?... is it cut, torn, frayed?... if so you might need to check the alignment of all of the pulleys... the pic below is what mine looked like after 30 seconds of idling after I Installed mine... my blower pulley was 1.5 ribs out of line with the other pulleys

I believe mine was on there too tight.(Was there when i purchased the car a few years ago) As a result, it does have oil seepage not to mention the bearings are loud.
I don't think you can get the belt on there tight enough (lol). If the belt is couple of years old it's probably worn out. Give Vortech a call for a quote on a refurb. That's the best way to go.
It's probably not an A&A system, but they might be a place to check on a rebuild. A vendor on the left side of your screen. The pulley alignment is critical to the SC working to it's best potential. GL!
