Ok, first let me startup by saying I'm not very mechanically inclined (as you'll see) I installed the tb bypass, started the car and and antifreeze all of the floor. I believe it is spraying out of the the bottom opening of the throttle body where the hose once was. Are you suppose to plug the two openings? Help!
The hose (with "bypass") goes to the nipple on the pass. head. Both TB nipples are free of hoses and can remain open or be plugged as you wish. Just running a single hose from the radiator to the head seems better to me.
Thanks for the replies. Before I attached the hoses I did NOT remove the radiator cap to allow it to depressurize. Does radiator fluid remain in the intake manifold or somewhere else while the car is not running? Could that cause the bottom "nipple", under the coupler, to leak antifreeze when I started it?
Also, did you guys just push the rubber hoses over the bypass tube so that the bypass tube was not showing at all?
Lastly, did you guys just tuck the hose under the coupler or did you fasten it down some how?
Thanks for your help, I've learned a lot from everyone in the forum. There's a great wealth of experience and knowledge.
Be very careful here. One of the two lines that the bypass goes to is hidden under the TB. Do not make the mistake that I made and hook the bypass up to the breather line coming out of the top of the TB or you will pump coolant into your motor oil!!!

I still remember your post... Didn't you have a relative help you with that or something?

Good point.
I just helped a forum member that did this the other day, and pumped coolant into his oil. To reiterate, do NOT use the hose that is on the top passenger side of the throttle body. That is the PCV hose.
