Thought I would share this with y'all. Many of you have more expensive builds but how often do you get to see it all in one place?
This is a road racing motor that I am doing, and very pleased with the way things are finally coming together. Custom cam, forged parts, 243 SPM heads, I'm a happy camper. Drop the lower assembly off at the machine shop Monday, waiting on the ARP bolts so they can use the hone plate I rented (didn't have one) and then they'll build the bottom end. I'll do the rest.
Will wait on head gaskets until I know what is shaved off the heads and what the quench needs to be. Then pushrods....you get the feeling it never ends...
All forged, billet or race level components. Can't wait to drive it!
Eventually going full dry sump so I got the balancer for that right off the bat. I didn't photograph the aluminum flywheel but couple that up with a balanced rotating assembly I should spin up pretty quick.
Yes the Mrs. is out of town...that's why it is in the dining room!
