Will be replacing my stock '04 headlights with new ACA type. Is it possible, at the same time, to replace the front corner DRL / Marker light housing assemblies from above as opposed to doing from under the car? Any thoughts by anyone out there?
You can replace the light housings from above, by taking the headlight out, or from below by taking off the shroud/splash guard off from the bumper cover.
If you're already taking the headlights out then definitely do it that way. Not sure if there is a write-up for that method. I personally replaced my housings with black ones as shown above but I replaced them from the bottom.
Thanks for the encouraging words. Got the job done last night, super easy just like you said. While doing the light housing replacement, I was also able to install some new RaceMesh Brake Duct Grills, also from above. Thanks again.
