Fuel gauge problem
2008 fuel gauge works intermittently. Shut car off and it works again, hit a bump and it stops. I get a low fuel message. 27,000 miles. Anyone have problem? Thank you.

Yes, last year. Looked down at gauge 100 miles after fill up, indicated I was low already. Puzzled and worried, I pulled into freeway gas station, looked for dripping gas-nothing so I pulled up to pump anticipating a full tank fill-up-NOPE 5 gallons only ??? Back out on freeway for the rest of the summer with no problems. Happened again in Fall. Other than those 2 times I have never had a problem?????

You might want to check with the guys over on the C6 Tech forum. This system operates a bit differently than the C5s.
