Service Vehicle Soon
Hi I originally started this thread under C5 General. Got some good advice but then it kinda got lost in tail pipes and licence tags. 
Anyway, here's where I am now.
2004 Lemans Commemorative Convertible ...
I had dead battery. Put charger on. When I started got Service Vehicle Soon, Trac light and ABS light. Pulled codes -
P0856 H C - Traction Control Input Signal
TCS - No Comm
U1040 H C - Loss of Class 2 Communications with ABS
Battery tests good.
Fuses test good.
Cleaned and reseated grounds.
Have removed EBCM but not yet opened it.
Any advice on next steps greatly appreciated!

This is like chicken soup - it can't hurt.
First clear all codes.
Disconnect battery cables.
Wait 3 hours.
Connect battery cables.
Start car and there is a good chance codes will stay clear.
If not, forget what you have heard about chicken soup and car repairs.
