LS3 Swap into 2002 Z06 Question about MAP Sensor

I am putting the LS3 in my 02 Z06. I have the stock LS3 intake with rails and injectors but no MAP sensor.

I read that you could get the adapter for the stock LS3 MAP sensor to work with the stock connector, but also saw that this worked only on 03+ models with the revised ECU.

I want the swap to look as original as possible. What are my options to make this work?

The tables need to be calibrated and even then, they won't match up exactly.

You're better off getting a proper grommet at sears and putting your factory map sensor in that. That is what I did. It doesn't NOT look factory either

Any idea what the part number was on the grommet? Do you have a picture of your install?

No part number, I just went to sears with my map sensor and played with a few of em. I got one that was a real tight squeeze in the hole.

I'll see if I can get you a pic.

Mine is using the stock map sensor as well. You probably could just get a big assorted pack of rubber grommets from harbor freight, if you have one near by.
