Driving in to work this morning and several things very strange happened. I put my window down and now it will not go back up. In fact none of the functions on the control panel work. I also had a "Check Gages" message and noticed the temp was pegged and the Battery voltage was low. Didn't look at the other gages because I wanted to get the car shut down as soon as possible. I really need some help on this one. Thanks

All of that points to low voltage (battery). Either your battery is toast, the alternator is shot, or both. Start with the battery. Good luck.
If it's still doing this, grab the accordion tube in the driver's door hinge area and wiggle it and see if it changes anything. If it does, post back and I'll see if I can find Bill Curlee's post on how to fix it. I disagree with the low battery diagnosis. That will cause a lot of things, but gauges pegging while you're driving I don't agree. Double check the battery cables on both ends to be sure you don't have a loose or corroded connection, and try the wiring bundle in the accordion tube in the door hinge area as I mentioned.

I did find a post about corrosion on the grd plug and attach bolts. Battery is reading 11.3 with ign. on , engine off. Thanks

However, the fact that you have 11.3 volts with the engine off is suspect (and it looks like 65GGvert just commented to the same).
I would suggest starting with the simplest item: the battery. Disconnect it the negative terminal and measure the battery voltage with a DMM. If it is low, charge it. If it doesn't take or hold the charge, replace it. Once you have that ruled out, move on to other checks.
Personally, I would check your ignition fuses in the IPEC fuse box, under the passenger floor board. If one of those fuses is loose or has a poor connection, it will cause all kinds of weird problems. I know this from experience!
Doesn't hurt to clean all of your ground connectors and attaching studs/bolts...
Good luck!

Jiggled boot and panel started working. Went to parts store and Battery and ALT and Starter ALL check good. Time to start chasing sparks. Thanks for everyone help. Will post results of my investigation.
Click on this link, scroll down to post #57 and look at Bill's pictures of what you have to replace. Ignore the beginning posts about the bare wire and go straight to the connector pins.
