My BCM blues
Ok guy got a question on my BCM for my 99 c5. I'm looking on eBay and found a few but I don't want to buy one that will not work in my car . Here are the numbers on my BCM ----- serv.no. 09381399, *87CYSHM191650415* CYSH. That's all I see on it I'm not sure if that's the OE part I was told when I got the car he had too have it replaced before . Unfortunately I can't contact the guy I bought the car from anymore. If you can help me with any info will be helpful thanks. Doyle

Chuck, we worked with him on a separate Thread and he is down to the BCM. Poor guy was removing his heater core and dumped coolant on the BCM. I asked him to post the question on whether 99 BCMs are unique or not. I know 2001 and 2002 are the same part number. I just could not confirm what BCMs could be used in a 1999 without having to modify pinouts.

Hey guys!!!!! My BCM came in the mail today. I'm so ready to get it installed and to hear my baby come back to life . I have the relearn procedure printed off that was sent to me.lets hope all goes well. I called the dealership about putting in the rpo codes in . It will be Friday before I can get to work on the car I will post my results thanks everyone out there in vette land .

Be sure the battery is fully changed when you start the relearn procedure.
