I'm posting this here since the A4 in my C6 is the same as the C5. Anyone ever had the trans flushed at the dealer? Did it survive? I've heard its not a good idea but the service advisor swears it will do no harm. Mine works perfect but the other day it started slipping on an angle going up the driveway so I'm think low fluid.
If it is low mileage say 35K miles - I would say go for it. If it is 100K I would say don't do it.
My LS1 Trans-AM with 88K had no issues, a location Power Flushed the tranny and 4 days later was slipping, I needed to rebuild it. This is my experience.
The other option, is to just drain the pan, fill with new fluid and repeat a 2nd time - you won't get all of it out but adding new some new fluid is a good compromise.
