2000 poor handling on uneven roads
Caster about 7 degrees with a little more in the right front to account for road crown.
Toe about 0.2* toe in all the way around.
Make sure the shop sets the camber and toe are the same left to right. They can use a little different numbers front to back but side to side should be equal.
Any thoughts? Anybody running that combo?
When my 03 Coupe was in stock form I thought it felt loose/floating at speed. The stock sway bars on the Coupe are pencil thin. I swapped them out for Z06 sway bars and poly bushings and it really firmed up.
Hope that helps.

I am thinking along these lines...because a mechanic put it on a lift and looked around and said he didn't see of feel anything out or loose.
I also THOUGHT it might be shocks...but I have had this issue since 20,000 miles...so I doubt the shock were bad at 20K
The car doesn't drift on a straight road, so I THINK the alignment is good, the tire pressure is right on... the lug nuts are all tight
but the car still floats around...I haven't checked the steering box though.

I have Sumitomo HTR Z2's for street and Hankook R-S3's for autocrossing.

My symptoms were the rear end felt loose, like it would unpredictably sway left to right (similar to tracking in rain grooves). Further testing showed it did this right after letting off the gas after WOT. I first noticed the loose feeling when I changed from Firestone runflats to Nittos (I'll have to go look at the tire model in the morning).
I had the car completely aligned to Z06 specs, which helped ever so slightly.
In the meantime, I damaged the front skid bar and removed the air dams for a year or so. (the looseness was still present during this time).
Six months ago, I got serious about isolating the problem. I replaced the shocks with C6Z06, the sways to C6Z51 (from C5 Z51), and added metal endlinks. I still noticed the problem, but the ride was much smoother (the old shocks, bushings, and endlinks were shot).
I swapped out the rear tires during testing with a friends Nitto drag radials and the problem was still there.
I fixed the skid plate and re-installed the air dam. The problem seems to have gone away, but I had limited testing (about a month of weekend driving), because I pulled the entire drivetrain for a clutch install.
While the driveline is out I will replace the trans mount. I am also going to buy new tires and throw the Nitto's off a cliff. (The problem started the minute I put the tires on. I was convinced it was the tires, but when I put the air dam back on I could not recreate the problem).
I will test more in the future, but have a lot of work to do before the car is on the road again. I hope some of this helps.
FWIW- I may have a crack on a rear wheel spoke. I can't tell if its a crack in the paint or in the spoke. Apparently, it happens.
