I need to wire in a vacuum sensor/switch for the KB BAP in my '00. Not sure where I should put it. Car has a 402 LS2 with LS3 top end....any suggestions?
Three options come to mind:
1) there is a tap at the right rear of the intake manifold...you could tee in to that line.
2) remove the pre-shaped tubing for the evap purge (front left/driver's side), use some vacuum line and tee in there.
3) at the front right/passenger's side, you could tee in at the PCV return line.
I would think any of those options will suit your needs.
I have a NA model that I bought used. Did not come with the sensor or any of the fittings.....I picked up a new sensor from Summit that should work. I might just drill and tap the manifold above where the brake booster line is.
