I believe you said you have bee a Corvette Tech for 20 yrs.? please see link below, I believe the power steering valve was the same thru 1979...so maybe you could help? Thanks! Greg

Yes,leaky power steering control valves are common...Though somewhat pricey,they are still available from GM,and I havent had a problem with the factory replacement...
