Tires help

Changed the oil today after the long winter sleep, added air to the tires but two valves would not take air. Values could release air but not take air. TPMS problems perhaps. Saw a bit of looked like grey rubber around on of the valves that would not take air.
Any thoughts on what the problem could be?
Appreciate any help.

If the valve stems "released" air, but wouldn't allow you to inflate, I'd check the air chuck you're trying to inflate with.

Only thing that can possibly be checked is the valve stem, if the problem is in the valve. UNscrew and check for damage. Hard to figure.
