3.42 diff Install{ HELP}

I want to install a 99 6 speed 342 diff in my auto 98 am I goin to have any issues besides for recalibrating the speedo?

Speedo will not be an issue. The shift points and line pressure will need to be reprogrammed. You could probably send your ECM to one of the forum venders for a mail order tune that will really help wake it up.

yea; a tune will take care of speedometer, shift points and red limiter.
I wouldn't wind it out until you get it changed.

Vengeance racing will handle the tune they are local to me. Im doing the install as we speak!

I wouldn't drive it without a tune the convertor won't lock right it won't shift right and the tranny probably will overheat. The speedo is not affected. The speed sensor is in the diff.
