2 piece timing covers worth it?
I'm swapping out my broken 2000 motor for one out of a 1999. Leaving the cam stock for now but may swap cam later. Should I go with the 2piece timing cover to make it easier later? I plan to change the oil pump, timing chain, and balancer now as well as pinning the crank. The thought is to add a supercharger later and maybe a small blower cam.

It will save you from having to take the balancer/pulley off again, which would mean removing the rack etc.
Is the extra cost worth it to you to not have to do the additional work later? I'd say probably if you already plan on a cam swap later.

I like anything that adds function or ease of maintenance. I have yet to use the access, but is nice having it. If I remember right, I got a good deal thru Autozone.com with free shipping.
