I just bought a 02 C5. I noticed that the fog lights won't illuminate. The fuse is fine, and I know the relay (under the hood) is good because i tried swaping with the one next to it (i also hear a click when i turn on the fog switch). The light on the button lights up, but the fogs themselves won't turn on. I find it unlikely that both are burnt at the same time. Is there any other possibility?
I would check for voltage at that relay. It's a good sign that the light on the switch is coming on. It is very possible the bulbs are bad. These cars are all over 10 years old. They are very easy to get to. I just changed all mine on over to hid. Awesome upgrade for the price.

The headlight switch has to be in parking or higher for the fogs to come on...
Bought my HIDs off the auction site. Bought digital ballasts. Sounds like you need to get a meter and see if you are getting 12v at the socket which I doubt you are. It could be a bad ground or hot wire. It's not a complicated circuit so it you have a digital meter it shouldn't be hard to find the problem. Have you ever done any electrical troubleshooting before ?
