Default Track Tips? - Drag strip

I've found several excellent threads on this but still have three dumb newbie questions. I'd appreciate some advice.

1) Traction Control completely off, or Competitive Mode?

2) I've seen many opionions about doing a burnout with the runflats. Is there any benefit?

3) And finally, the dumbest question: with an MN6, after staging and bringing the car up to revs (around 2000?) do you have to heel and toe it to keep the brake on, or do you pull the parking brake, or is it flat enough that you don't have to worry about the brake? (I'm guessing the latter)

Just want to be prepared as best I can for my first time out. Thanks!

TC off, heat-up your runcraps, and use your emergency brake to hold you, it's embarrassing to roll through the lights!

Traction Control off. Competitive mode if you desire, but I do not use it.

Definitely spin the tires, no matter what kind, to clean the dirt and rocks off. You can heat them if you like, but it is pretty much wasted effort with run-flats.

Stage very slowly so that the second staging light just comes on. Don't worry about the brakes once you are staged. If the track is not flat, it's not your problem. Highly unlikely anyway.

Don't dump the clutch. If you do, you won't go anywhere. Ease the clutch out and go. On run-flats you are looking for a 60ft time between 2.0 and 2.1.

Good luck but beware. The drag racing bug can bite real hard! :D
