New Clutch

I realize this is an open question but what's the best clutch out there for great proformance but not street racing

You are gonna hear everything from stock LS6 to triple disk race clutch.
Run a search there are plenty of threads about this, I just read through them since I am putting a clutch in now.

all depends on your HP level

a stock car, that isn't raced, i'd use an ls6, they drive, well, like stock

one of the forum vendors had them for 389 a kit

If your or with some mods on or under 420-460rwhp I would recommend you go with their new stage 2 its pretty bad ***.

I called Chris at Monster Clutsh today and he also recomended the Stage Two, as it stands now I've installed Kooks Long Tube headers their X-Pipe with Cat's and Corsa Tiger Shark from the axle back with K&N CAI. I think that's about as far that I want to go at this time.

I think I'm having a clutch issue. I have never done anything in the way of bad clutches except for breaking a disk in my '76 F250. Mine starts rattling when I have the clutch almost engaged, and sometimes it sounds like gears are grinding when I shift. Is this a bad clutch or throwout bearing? Or both? Dam, I just did first gear synchros and differential clutch pak; I wish I'l looked at the clutch then.
