Default C5 Z06 running hot

Over the winter I did a few upgrades to my SW Z06. That said its an 01 so early LS6 car.
I added a texas speed 228r, beehive springs, pushrods, timing chain, comp cams trunion upgrade, ported oil pump, pinned stock diam ATI, LG long tubes and cat less xpipe, b lackwing and air bridge.
I've driven the car some, bled the coolant per service manual. Took the car on another test run today and it was running hot for an 80 degree day I thought. Got up to 230 in light traffic. Fans are working and car will pull down to 200 at highway speed but was typically 190 in the same light traffic. Radiator is not blocked.

I have not had the car tuned yet. Thats this week and was trying to work all the new part bugs out before I went in. Anything I am missing? Its not overheating just didnt think that any of the mods I added would cause it to increase operating temps like this.
Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

Bleed the coolant again. Trapped air would do what you are experiencing.

What degree thermostat are you running?

What is the best method for bleeding trapped air? I am a 8 year Honda tech and alot of times we have to raise to front of the car 2-3ft to get the coolant to bleed. All these cars have a traditional radiator and cap, not the pressurized reservoir like GM uses.

Car has a stock thermostat still. Thought of adding a cooler thermo to the car but didnt guess that was my problem.

I tried just running the car in cycles of 3000rpm back to idle several times and am still in the same problem.

Going to add a 160 degree thermostat bleed it again and drive it some. Seem like the research im seeing the thermostat along w setting the fans in a tune are helping keep temps down some.
