Default Corvette Wheel Speed Sensors With Racelogic Traction Control

Hey guys,
Not a regular here, but I have used info off of this forum, love it.

I am building a GTM, and ya I have the RLTC. I finally got a RPM signal, now on to the WSS. I can't get a signal. I do know one guy installed it and he reported no issues, http://www.gtm-supercar.com/, so why can't I get mine to work.

Anyway, I'm no good at electric stuff so I'm kind of stumped. I woudn't expect anyone to have an exact answer to my problem, especially from such a vaig description. I was hoping someone might have heard something, that I'm just missing the boat on.

Any help would be nice, thanks.

Here is the car,
, the build log is on you tube, fastthings build log.

I wrote them last night to see what the deal was and got this response in short order:

Thank you for your enquiry.

The ABS ECU on the Corvette does get slightly upset by the load being put on it when you connect the wheel speed signal wires for the traction system – an ABS warning lamp is illuminated when the car reaches about 75mph. However, it’s easily remedied by fitting 10k resistors in line on the connection.

Other than this there are no compatibility issues and RLTC works well on these cars.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Regards,

Mike Broadbent,
Sales Manager.

So it looks to me like the RLTC8DIAW is what we'd need. It would require splicing into every injector and each wheel speed sensor (with resistors in line). It is pricey at 850# or ~$1350 and you may as well spend the extra 100# for the full throttle shift.

So there, it's doable. Someone do it already.
Here's a post from a while back

Thanks for the response. I have everything ironed out. My problem was with the RLTC unit itself. You can get them in two formats, one for active wss, and one for passive wws. I have the right one know.

It was a long story, but all in al the guys from RLTC are great.

My build is not done yet, but next spring.

Where are you located? I'd like to maybe get one of these on my C6. Send me a PM with your number and we can text and talk shop.
