front end bottoms out including breakage
i've owned my 2001 for 6 months now and have been scrapping front end
on my driveway. i know this is very common among vetts.
seems prior owners didn't take good look at damage done.
i just discovered this breakage today. looks like frame protector rails
have really taken a beating. are these rails replaceable? any advice
would be great. thank you

I think you are asking about the two short bars, known as fang, that are on the bottom of the front fascia.
The short answer is that every part on your C5 can be purchased. Check the vendors on here. I think Eklers or one of those would be a good bet for you to find what parts you're looking for. Also, quite a few people buy their parts from E-bay. Personally, I use Rock Auto. I try to buy OEM parts but if they are not available I'll go one step up.
I saw a picture of one guys car on this web site who has a little set of wheels mounted on his fangs.
