Default Grounds behind passenger light...

Hello,

Currently doing a wide fender install. I unhooked the antenna and all the leads to it and to the fenders. Now I can't remember how everything goes back together. Where do the grounds good? Anyone have a pic of everything put back together? Thanks.

Do you need the ground info for the antenna and the side light or anything else? I can provide what you need just not at home now with the FSM schematics.

Also what style antenna do you have in case that makes a difference.

Heres my issue. I know the 2 non grounds, go together. They connect to the bolt that holds the fender. Do the grounds go with those as well? All 4 together?

Grounds for what?

What do you mean by non grounds? If they aren't grounds why do you think you should connect them to grounds?

For what it's worth grounds don't care where they are grounded so long as they are grounded.

So do all 4 of these connect together then? 2 are straps connected to the body.

They all appear to be grounds. Just make sure they all are connected to the frame rail. They don't have to be directly connected, but they all need to be electrically connected to the frame rail which is the ground.

Ok Here goes! All 4 are connected together. They were originally connected to the metal bracket that holds the bumper to the passenger side fender. The top bolt is really a stud type bolt with a bolt head with a stud coming out. This hold the brackets together then the 4 wires get placed on the stud together. Then a nut goes on top to secure all 4 together. I don't think that it matters where they get connected as long as all four are connected together. This allows all the wires to be grounded together. Sorry for the possible unclear wordage.

Your guidance seems perfectly clear to me. That should reinforce what he needs to do, ground them all one way or the other.
