Redline Tires for C5/C6
I just received my latest issue of Vette Magazine. On the back cover, there is an ad for Mecum Auctions. In the ad there is a C2 resto with a late model drivetrain, including the wheels. My guess is they are 20"-22". And they have redline tires on them that look "Great" (in my opinion)! Anybody got any idea where one would get high performance tires for our C5/C6's with redlines on them? Thanks.

I'm not sure where this company is located but I believe they are in Cali. Google Diamondback tires. They make custom-made tires with any type of custom sidewall you want, including thin line stripes in custom colors.

I have heard that some custom tires are mostly for display, having read complaints from guys who want to exceed 35 mph in their big antiques. I don't know if this applies to modern sizes.
