I had cold air on one side and warmer on other. I did the reset by pulling fuse 27 but did not disconnect the battery. When I put the fuse back in it came on for a second. Now no light to the climate control or any actions when I touch the buttons. Does it take time to reset?
Not at home with all my info but I think you need to remove the fuse for at least 30 seconds for the reset to work if that is the issue.
Have you pulled your DIC codes to see what they say if anything?
Have no codes showing when I started it up. Can you do the switch the key off three times to get them? Or do I need a scan tool? Thanks for your help. I will try to pull the fuse again. I originally pulled it for a minute or more.
I currently own a 1997 C5, I recently had the climate control go out. I took the unit and had it repaired. When I got it back I put it in and still the climate control unit does not light up and no air is available. Any Ideas on what I need to check next?? I replaced my battery 2 months ago and I recently had the ignition cleaned and rebuilt to resolve that issue. Thank you in advance.
I have a 97 and the air was colder on the passenger side.Turns out the system is actually 2 parts and low coolant (R134) will cause that problem.1 can added, problem solved.

We need to start with why you sent it off and what were your discussions with the repair shop. Like, what did they do and any testing to confirm the work?
There are 3 circuit boards inside with connectors. If they reassembled it and did not fully plug all the connections back in it could be your issue.
Also make sure you fully seated the HVAC unit connector into the unit in the back.
