Received my Corsa Daytona yesterday and got it installed last night. World of difference! At idle it sort of sounds like it's "under water" (boat like) but at WOT...... Very similar to Corsa Indy.
I originally wanted the Stingers, however, there was alot of talk about resonance :cry (I have an A4). The Corsa turned out to be a great alternative.
Some members on the forum may think they look "rice" since there's two big cannons in the rear, but I think it looks great, adds character, and helps to seperate it from all the other C5's on the road.
Waiting for my new '02 Z06 rims to arrive, then they'll be installed and I'll make sure to post some pic's!
Re: Corsa Daytona installed on '98 A4 (FOsteology)
The Corsa Daytona's NEVER look RICE. The motor boat sound may start to get on your nerves after a while, it did for me. I just added an X-pipe and cured that. But some folks like that sound. Whatever floats your boat.
The Corsa's are probably the best choice for the A4's since their resonances (all exhaust systems have resonances) they are just better engineered. The one thing I noticed about my Indy's is that as they aged they get LOUDER.
Re: Corsa Daytona installed on '98 A4 (Green Hornet)
Congrats on your new Corsa Daytonas, that is why I went with the Daytonas, no one else in this area has them and I have had lots of compliments on the looks.
