A friend called me and said when he stabs the gas car falls on its face and goes nowhere. he said if he takes his foot out of it and brings it up slowly it seems to act normal. Had him check for codes ,none appeared. His cruse control and the rest of the stuff works fine. My 01 never had any problems like that. His is an 04 automatic. Any body have any ideas on what could be causing it not to take off hard.
thanks guys
Joe
No this problem just started. I thought it might have something to do with the TPS but not sure. He said he has to baby it till he gets up to speed. He can't take off normally. I'm going today and look at to see if I can see anything. I'll try to check the voltage at the TPS.
Thanks
Joe
I'm having the exact problem with mine, I believe my traction control or active handling is kicking in for no reason. Occasionally when it happens, my DIC displays "active handling" I've checked and replaced several parts but still have the same problem.

Looked at friends car today , checked voltage on
TPS it was ok . I did notice one thing, the connection on the MAF was not clipped on all the way . Might be the problem? It did set a code before we checked all connections. It was PCM P0101 H. We'll see what happens . Thanks guys Joe
