I recently installed a vararam intake and borla straightpipes and my car does feel noticeably faster. I'm just not sure that I really should feel like I gained 50hp+ wheel horsepower.
These numbers are SAE corrected for Idaho 5,000 ft. Don't get me wrong, I love to say I have a 350whp car, I just don't really think I do. It was on a dynocom dc15000x chassis dyno.
does seem a little generous... Stock Z06's dyno in the 350-360HP range and bolt on Z06's dyno in the 380-390 TQ range.. So they have their correction factors a bit skewed. smooth power curves tho!
Yeah I was really happy with those power curves. The vette seemed to be running especially well that day.
Anybody know more about the awd dynocom chassis dynos? When I got the dyno runs finished I asked the guy how it compared to other dynos and he said he had a lot of people come in and say the dyno pulled very close numbers to other dynos. Who knows if that is true though :p
