I just went trhough the "Mall" and couldn't find a Line Lock for my 98. Do you guys know where I can get one. I would also like to know how difficult they are to install with the anti-lock brakes?
You really should contact MeanGreen200 and MagRedMonster. They both just installed line locks and did some very nice installations and educated the rest of us in several threads as to the best setups for line lock installs. They've already figured out the best routing, hardware and install procedure, so it would save you a lot of time and aggravation. I believe they're using different brands so you can ask about the pros and cons of each.
Also, do a search on line lock to find the posts that date back a few weeks.
you DAMN WELL got that right....please, let me/us save you some headaches and pains :D
I got mine from Summit Racing whcih can be found on-line, very easy to deal with :D
I ordered the TCI (about $79) it's the same one that WallStAL uses, I believe MagRed got the Hurst version (a little mor expensive) but neverenuf is running the same one :)
I can't really offer an opinion here but they are just solenoids that must be connected to the MC and ABS Unit and wired :D
:D just lemme know what kinda questions you have after reading, hardest part may be finding a local "Hose" place like MagRed and I did, but I'd be more than happy to help you there too if ya need it
Call Cartek, it's a little pricey at $250, but it may save you a lot of time and grief. :)
very true :D , but before you do that and for a LOT less, I'll get you the same setup I'm running and you won't have to suffer the grief I did ;) :D
