my retractables go up not down, checked everything,it all started when my battery died, replaced since then, still the same, someone said it could be a head light control module, what the heck is it and where is it?is it something I could do myself? thanks
Try working the multifunction stalk multiple times to turn on and off the headlights.
Perhaps someone with a FSM can offer up some testing on the control module.
Last I checked a new control module was an expensive item. Replacing it and still having the problem would **** off the Pope on Easter Sunday. Used modules are available. Look up Forum member Marc at vettenuts. They often have good used control modules.
Lastly Google "C5 Corvette headlights will not close" without the quotes. Should find some interesting reading...
thanks, the problem all started when my battery died, put a new one in and the lights just popped up a stayed there,i tried everything ,someone had the same problem and the control module when open was burned,so I just wondered,i guess i'll bring it to my mechanics, hopefully his scanner will pin point it
