What are the best sway bars youd suggest for a 97 coupe a4...without total undrivability that is...z06?,hotchkis???...any others etc.....Id appreciated the help! :chevy
Hotchkis is 20% stiffer than the Z06 bar, they both should work good i guess it would come down to price, then there is the T1 bar that is 143% stiffer.
T-1's if you can take the firmness and noise I love mine.I just sold my Z06's and bars and shoccks cheap to a young struggling 20 year old his car is new again and handles like the Z06.I may have 1 more set of take offs call Nate if your interested they have Hotckiss end links that cost 125 for the set,but if they still exist he will cut you a deal.I've driven the Hotchkiss many times and they feel similar to the Z06 a bit more $$$$ but they are great and I know people who race em' hard.Good Luck Dave S.
I really do not think there are any "Best Swaybars". It is completely relative to your application. If you drive mostly on the street in grandpa mode then stick with the Z51. If you like to drive grandpa style and an occasional track visit then hotchkis are great. And if you like to race alot or never drive like a grandpa then get the T1's. Did that help?
