OK, I think I get it now. The Euro harness piggyback's onto the stock one? It looks like it's zip-tied to the stocker. My stock harness is still there, intact. So I just need to get underneath the car to unplug the aftermarket harness from the stock harness?
Not sure , maybe take the rear wheel off , if you then find a connector block unused then that should be the stock original .
Its not a bad job to remove the whole harness and then strip the tape to see whats been done to it. If you don't find any soldered wires I would think that harness is a GM euro EXPORT harness.
Bottom line just use the top bulb sockets and remove the amber sockets .
Or , and if your not sure just get a stock rear harness , plug in , join the white wire on brake pedal switch and your gtg .
If it helps I can buy that harness from you , might off set the cost of a usa spec one .
Thinking about it , you might be better off getting the usa spec harness , that way you can sell the euro lamps and harness as a plug in kit .

I figured it out. It's an additional harness that goes between the US male and female tail light harness connectors. It's plug and play. I just need to get the car up on a lift to remove the Euro harness, but other than that I successfully reversed it.
Reconnecting that white wire was a nightmare though! So tight.
NITRO, if you want the tail lights and harness - they are for sale. I have a lot of interest though.
If you can sell the lamps and harness no prob , kinda thought it may help ya and I would have another option here in the uk , im running us spec lamps (red flashing indicators) , happy with them .
For others reviewing this Thread, not all EURO conversions are plug and play. Many are cobbled up cheap conversions.
I just helped one member resolve a problem with one of these since he was having a problem with brake lights. The vendor had supplied cheap crimp thru the insulation connectors and the previous owner had actually used them.
It was not hard to tell him where to look to find the issue. He tracked the wire I told him to trace and the crap connection was hidden where it connected at the 3rd brake light. He had been struggling for I don't know how long trying to figure out what was wrong.
Also, I am amazed with even the Plug and Play conversions being sold they tell you to cut the White wire. They should also tell you how simple it is to just remove the White wire pin from the connector.

Agreed. It was a bear reconnecting it in that tight space, and not much room for error when stripping and crimping as the wire is pretty tight and not a lot of slack.
I know, I was repairing some wiring in one of my cars years ago when I could actually lay down on my back and do stuff. Was under the dash and soldering some things directly above my head. I just used safety glasses to protect my eyes and was waiting for molten solder to transform my face or burn my beard. Got lucky that day though.
