Default Line lock selection

Tired of holding the brake trying to get a good burnout. Works most of the time, but ready to try a line lock. Who makes them and which should I go for and why?

What is a reasonable price to pay for a kit? These are all new to me. Is self installation pretty easy?

I havent installed mine but I have a Fastbird line lock kit.

Nice kit with a great price. Comes with everything you need and instructions on a cd. Plus, Sean is a great guy to deal with! Good luck and happy burnouts!!!

RSD makes a nice kit. Bolts right in. Bleed the brakes and your on the way melting off the tires.

RSD's kit is $285. Kinda pricy. Anyone know anything about WCC's kit? (West Coast Corvettes) their kit is $180 and looks to be right along lines with RSD's kit. Other than the stainless steel lines. Looks like the hard lines go right in.

I bought the RSD kit a well. The quality of the solenoid and bracket are excellent. The one thing that really bothered me about their kit was the line that goes from the solenoid to the ABS module connects to the factory line instead of replacing it. It leaves a lot of line bunched up by the alternator. Looks sloppy for what they charge for the kit. I fabricated up a hard line, but not everyone is comfortable cutting and flaring brake line. Take a look at Carteks setup, would probably go with that if I had to buy another one.

Wcc kit doesn't include a bracket that bolts in or lines. You can buy the same kit sold at wcc from summit for $99.

I've had a cartek unit in my car for almost 8 years. It is a really easy install and they have a good setup. http://www.cartekracing.com/Products...s/LineLock.htm
