Default Clutch Issue

I have a 2004 heads & Cam 6 speed that dyno'ed at 450 RWHP. i have an LS 6 clutch and when I open it up and run thru the gears, the clutch gains peddle pressure and the engagement point raises about an inch or so further out from the floor. The peddle pressure increases also. This is a diaphram type clutch and I don't understand what is happening. When it cools down, the engagement point and clutch pressure goes back to normal. I have bled the clutch as I have a remote bleeder and there doesn't seem to be any air in it. I changed the fluid to dot 4 fluid.

I know I'm going to have to change the clutch eventually to a heavier clutch.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

this happens to most of us 6spd guys, myself included... I tried new fluid and an adjustable master cylinder but nothing worked... the only way to fix it is to change the piece of junk clutch
