T56 Build Date
Hey guys I have a 97 C5 so I should have the paper blocker rings in the T56, but my transmission was changed under warranty in 2008 so im guessing it now has the newer parts.
Im about to do a fluid change and just want to be sure if I can run synthetic or not and was wondering if there is any way to verify manufacture date of the transmission to figure out If I have the new or old stuff.

I think my 2000 transmission has "00" cast or stamped somewhere on the case. I am not sure if it's visible with the trans in the car, but I have another trans in the garage that I can take a look at and let you know.
