there is a huge thread literally posts down from yours on this very same page... I just got this code last week and successfully repaired the ebcm over the weekend to get rid of the code... a novice could do this repair so save some money and do it yourself

I fixed my EBCM in my 02Z a while back via help of a thread on the forum. Just removed it, (very easy) opened it up, (not as easy as removing it
) and resoldered the relay. The solder joints didn't look bad and I didn't expect it to work but it has been fine ever since

Forget using the Forum search. If I want to find something I know is in the Forum I Goggle using C5 Corvette Forum and then add whatever issue I think it was titled.
