Fuel System Additives
To all,
I've had very good results using Lucas, upper cylinder lubricant in all my vehicles, i.e, C5 Corvette, 2001 Mustang Bullitt GT, 2013 Nissan Altima, and a 1994 Dodge Ram 350 Pleasure Way camper van w/ a 318 motor. In every application a marked improvement in gas mileage was observed, i.e, 17 mpg with the Dodge and over 40 mpg with the Nissan. Also, I noticed an overall smoother operation. Oh, by the way the best mpg with my 2002 6-speed Corvette convertible was 28.7 during mostly highway driving.
Yours truly,
Carcrisis

Urinating into a strong headwind will yield similar results.

NO--there are some addatives that do work--fuel stabilizer has some good brands--needed if you don't drive much--some good fuel injector cleaners--some good octane boosters---ask questions shop around you will find good stuff-that works with your fuel-

Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner is all I use. Not a big believer in the additive hype.

Me neither. The problem is there is usually no control for the experiment. If it makes you happy etc.

I dump some Seafoam in the gas tank at oil changes. Hoping that if anything, it'll keep the gas gauge working as it should. Never notice a performance benefit in MPG or HP. Figure it can't hurt.
