Default Dyno pull # seem low ?

Have had two Dyno pulls on different dyno both seem a bit low compared to what I have been reading about on the forum .
Two years ago installed Texas speed Tq-2 cam kit . I have LT Headers HF cats 3" BB exhaust Vara ram intake and Had a tune done.

Superflow dyno was
398hp
351 FT lbs TQ @6900 rpm
Mustang Dyno
350Hp/
350 Ft lbs TQ @ 6500 rpm

Should I be getting more out of the this setup ? Think my tune my be on the conservative side ?

Looks like you made peak torque at 4600 and not 6500 (didn't even go that high) on the mustang dyno.

More info though. Was the first power numbers just cam only and the dyno was with the other mods added and retuned? It's to bad the mustang dyno didn't have a wideband hooked up.

Yes uncorrected #s .
I had issue with the shop that did the tune after cam install on the super flow dyno . Idle would dip and car stalled three times on way home from tune . i went back person (shop) he looked at tune and said "well the fuel trims all look good dont see a problem .
He did not even drive the car after tune and charged me $1k !
I remember him saying he will leave to tune a little "Fat" to be safe.
I CF member sent me a PM noting with same mods he car put down 418 on mustang dyno with a tune he had done in MA . Another had said went to same shop in MA and found mistakes that where made by the shop I had my tune done at and where corrected car ran totally different .Think I am taking a ride to MA ..

yeah, any guy who takes $1000 bucks from you for a simple cam tune & then won't even go for a drive to verify the tune's good - especially after being told the car don't run right - he needs to be put out of the tuning business.

usually bolt on is about 330-350 then cam added add another 30-50. Seems about right for cam only if it's a ls1 with stock heads.

The one Dyno is showing about a 12.5:1 AFR. Thats not what I would call fat.
How many pulls did you get for $1k. Normally a tune should only be $500-$600. I would ask how much timing he was able to get before KR showed and asked how much he backed off after KR. And asked if he tried some different AFR's. Or did he just make a couple adjustments and call it good? For $1k, he should have had it on the Dyno for a full day and tried to squeeze every HP he could out of it.

Another thing, Dynos are tuning tools and I wouldnt put too much thought into the numbers. And Autos will make less RWHP than Manuals. You can call Texas Speed up and get there opinion if what you should be making. I would pay more attention to the Mustang Dyno. They are more conservative and not over inflated.
