Default 2002 signals don't work

I have a 2002 conv, the cig lighter casing was loose so I tightened it and then the turn signals would not work, I loosened and sure enough the signals worked, any ideas for a fix. Thanks from a new member.

No relationship. Try it again a couple of times and see if it wasn't a coincidence. Next time your signals don't work, press the hazard button off/on rapidly several times, then turn it off and see if your turn signals don't start working, at least for a little while.

I had the same issue here. As stated, turn the flashers on and off and they should work. I turn them on for three flashes and then off. I do this 50 times. It frees up the relay and should last quite a while.
