Tires
I have a 98 vert with Michelin run flats on it they r ok but rather old.
I hear new tires would be alot quieter and have better ride. Any 1 know if this is true?
I am thinking about going to NON run flats for a better ride and i hear they run quieter. Has any 1 does this?
Also what brand tires do u all think r best now days. Seeing as i haven't bought a set of tires in more than 20 years since i trade cars every 3 years
Thanks for any info guys
Jim
You might consider keeping a bottle of Slime and a 12 volt inflator in the back of the car in case of emergency with non runflats.
Pick your favorite brand of tire. Many here like the Hankook Ventus V12. Inexpensive and provides good traction wet and dry. Others will have their favorites and will chime in soon.

Just last week I dumped my 12 yr. old run flats. Changed to Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3, non run flats. The change is terrific. Low noise and smooth ride. Bought a 12 volt inflator in case of emergency. They were highly recommended by Tire Rack, although I did not buy from them.
