02 C5 Steering Wheel Position sensor problem
I had the SWPS replaced in my c5 and now when i put more than 20 degree's steering wheel input either way the car basically wants to stop itself violently. The procedure was followed to the T on how GM wants it done. My question is does the computer need to be programmed or is there something that i am missing? I cant use the traction control at all..

I have a few that state loss of communication with LDCM/ Sireal data line malfunction. A u1255 general loss of communication. U1016 loss of communication with IPC. Those are the ones i looked up that i thought may have something to do with it. Then of course the obvious one that says service TCS system while i am driving...

If you are having serial bus issues it could the root cause of your issues.
I would suggest you post ALL your codes and be SPECIFIC about what DIC heading they show up under. It matters.
Not at home with all my data inventory and FSM.
Also, would like to know why the SWPS was replaced and codes/problems that led to that decision. Also who did the work and was the SWPS new or used.
