Default Need help P0606 1518 97 vette

I have read on the forums that this means my PCM is dead. Can't find new or used one and it is supposed to go in for new cam this Saturday. So am I pretty much stuck with a pretty car to look at?

Other than that search the internet for Corvette yards that recycle C5 parts. Remember that the number of 97's built was small compared to the other years. Might be difficult based just on that.
I just pulled out my PCM there was allot of corrosion in the connectors. I mean an embarrassing amount. I remember teetering cruise missiles back in the day if the connectors were corroded it would cause the missiles to fail the test. Could cleaning these resolve the problem?

Battery acid from the battery directly above the PCM has been known to cause all sorts of problems. Worth removing the battery and the shelf it sits on and cleaning everything up and perhaps putting a little primer and paint on any damage. Check and clean up the grounds near the battery while you are there.................. Baking soda and warm water will dissolve the acid remains. Flush with lots of water once the acid is dissolved
Thanks again I really appreciate the help unfortunately in the middle of working it starting pouring on me it's really not my day
