Default High volume tranny pan

Can anyone recommend a high vol. tranny pan, either factory or aftermarket, which fits well and has adequate clearances?

Considering the C5's A4 has no dip stick its fill/drain plug is mounted on the side of the pan... wouldn't think a standard aftermarket pan would be compatible. I have a cast aluminum (with cooling fins) Hughes aftermarket 4L60E pan on my 98 Z71, and although larger than the already standard deep pan, it only has provisions for a central drain plug located on the bottom of the pan. I would think the proximity of the drain/fill plug would be important if considering modifying any pan to fit... even if clearances are not an issue.

Steve: I suspect that out there "Somewhere in Texas" you run into some pretty good heat, just like we do here in AZ. I thought about the pan too, but am going with a B&M cooler. :yesnod:

I have the B&M cooler p/n 70255 (13-16K GVW) and still run upwards of 195 F on hi 90-100F days. Would like to run max. 175 F, maybe a larger cooler.
