Default Bilstien shocks F45

Have a 2000 corvette convertible, shocks were really bad. Looked into it decided to go with Bilstien sport. Ordered them and just got the fronts as the rear are on back order till 2085. Put on the fronts and I was amazed at how much better than the F45 stock shocks. After more research I decided to put the Heavy duty Bilstien on the rear, same price ansd in stock. What a smart choice, I never new my Vette could feel so good. I used the resistors as mentioned in several threads and presto no problems and an awesome ride. Thank you to all the threads!!!!!
Best price I found on the shocks was $335.80 shipped @
eShocks.com

Hope this helps some of you out there. Saved me a couple grand

Good suggestion I will do that in the future. Here is one for the resistors:

My suggestion would be to not pay the heavy price for the simulators @ $205.95 @
http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/p-3...7-2004-c5.aspx

The resisters I got at radio shack for about $7.00 all in, used electrical tape that I had, no codes no problems.

How to uninstall and reinstall the shocks came from Froggy:

Rear:

Front:

If I can be of any help just let me know

As far as the decision to do heavy on the rear, that was my impatience that made that decision, this time it worked out.

I installed the bilstien sport shocks on my 98 and noticed a big difference, but after I replaced the front and rear springs with z06 springs it really made the car handle fantastic. I figured after 15 years of the car weight on the springs they may be shot. Very nice mod in the handling dept.
